My name is Bob Lawliss and I live in Pembroke NH. I’m running to represent the people of NH Senate District 17 and not special interests, extremists or donors.
When I talk with people about how things are going I’ve heard a lot about how state and federal government seem more focused on unending tax cuts for those who don’t need them at the expense of the health and education of NH families and children. Scroll down to learn more about exactly how the current Republican-run state government has let you down and how I, and others like me, intend to work on policies that will benefit the majority of granite staters.
The biggest issue right now for most granite staters is affordability. This includes housing/property taxes, energy, healthcare and childcare. The challenge to improvement lies with a number of specific policy choices. For the last several years the state house has been held hostage by Republican politicians who have not been legislating for the majority of their constituents but rather in the best interests of their donors, special interest groups and radical right-wing extremists funded by out of state groups.
