I’m Bob Lawliss and I live in Pembroke NH. I’m running to represent the people of NH Senate District 17 and not special interests, extremists or donors.

I’m a veteran, retired software engineer, former EMT, direct care, and factory worker and I decided to run because I’m tired of seeing the direction that Republicans are taking New Hampshire. I’ve always been registered as an independent and voted based on candidates’ positions on issues, but now is the time to vote for change… before the party of Trump, the Epstein class and Free Staters here in NH completely ruin the future of working Granite staters and their kids. Scroll down to learn more about exactly how the current Republican-run state government has let you down and how I, and others like me, intend to work on policies that will benefit the majority of granite staters.

The biggest issue right now for most granite staters is affordability. This includes housing/property taxes, energy, healthcare and childcare. The challenge to improvement lies with a number of specific policy choices. For the last several years the state house has been held hostage by Republican politicians who have not been legislating for the majority of their constituents but rather in the best interests of their donors, special interest groups and radical right-wing extremists funded by out of state groups.
